5)Do you install it as well?
A: We can professionally install your new sauna
for a nominal fee or you can set it up on your own. It is not a problem
to walk you through the install process by
phone. All of our saunas take about an hour to assemble and install.
6)Are your saunas safe and do your saunas have
any certifications? A: Our saunas are safe.
Non toxic water based glue is used sparingly in our saunas, mainly at
the joints. The wood
cabinet is expertly nailed and hand sanded to a
smooth natural finish. All are 100% Canadian Cedar or 100% Canadian
Hemlock wood. Our saunas have been scrutinized
and tested at the highest levels and electrically certified by ETL Labs.
7)Whattemperature should I set my sauna at and
how long should my sauna session be? A: The optimal
temperature setting should be between 100° F to 140° F for maximum
health benefits. Recommended
session times are between 30 – 60 minutes but you
can go longer when acclimated, depending upon your health level.
8)Whyare carbon fiber heaters better than
ceramic heaters, and is far infrared heat safe? A: There are no hot
spots and the heat is more evenly distributed throughout the sauna
cabin. Carbon panel heaters
are the newest technology and the heating
elements have been proven to last much longer. Infrared energy is not
only
safe, but is also highly beneficial for our
bodies and currently used by physicians and health professionals around
the
world.
9)What is the difference between traditional
saunas and far infrared saunas? A: Traditional saunas
use steam to heat the air inside the sauna, which then heats your body
until you begin to sweat.
In order for this to be effective, temperatures
must reach upwards of 190 degrees Fahrenheit. Infrared saunas only
need a temperature from 100°
F to 140°
F to obtain
the same effect. These lower temperatures make the environment
more enjoyable, while allowing you to breathe
easier, thus creating a much more comfortable and satisfying sauna
session.
10)How much does it cost each month to operate
my sauna? Is far infrared sauna energy efficient?
A: Carbon far infrared heaters are extremely efficient and cost very
little to operate each month. 1 hour of sauna
usage costs from 10 to 20 cents, which is
around $5 a month to operate if you use it every day. All of our saunas
use
110/120 volt plug in the wall power. The
wattage ranges from 1320 watts (11A) to 2300 watts (20A) depending on
the model.
11)What is the Sauna Warranty?
A: We have a Lifetime 'No Hassle' Warranty on the Structure
and all Electronics. If you ever have a part that
needs to
be replaced within the warranty period, contact us so we can send a new part to you promptly. We are
not
going to ask you to spend money to send in the original part first, or
make you pay for the parts return shipping
to
you. After the 3 years, we do charge for the part... but only at
our cost.
We do not inflate the price of
non-warranted replacement parts to our sauna customers.
