CARING FOR YOUR SAUNA

Sauna Health Store uses the highest quality A++ grade Clear (no knots) Canadian Hemlock or Canadian Cedar. Although our saunas are manufactured with high quality wood, it is still a product of nature. Minor cracks in the wood may form over time, which is considered normal. All wood products are susceptible to scratches and minor dents. This is normal and will not affect the operation of your sauna. Even though our wood has been pre banded before being kiln dried, a certain amount of expansion and contraction occurs in the wood within a sauna. Wood is a living material that continues to respond to climate conditions, even after being manufactured into a sauna. Variations in the color or grain, and irregularities such fine cracks are part of the natural beauty of the wood and in no way should be considered defects. Prior to shipping, the wood is inspected for consistency, color and quality.
